In the past I have written about cruelty and neglet facing animals therefore, this week I thought I would pep it up a notch and talk about Faith. Faith is a six year old lab/chow mix from Edmound Oklahoma with a very noticable difference from most dogs her age. Faith only has her back two legs she was born with out one front leg and the other had to quickly be amputated. The family noticed that right away as a puppy she would scoot on her stomach to get around and they desperatly tried to get her to sit upright. “We constantly propped her onto her back legs,” remembers mom Jude Stringfellow. “Mostly she would tilt and flop back down, but if she sat for a few seconds, we rewarded her with peanut butter, which she’ll do anything for."
All it took was her first trip in the snow to get her hopping on those back leggs and now she gets around with no problem at all. I think there is a lot of people who could learn something from Faith just because you have a disability does not mean you are disabled.
